Reading (dictionary definition): to look at carefully so as to understand the meaning

Totally! Except not really.

Reading is the act of traveling to parallel dimensions by scanning a sentence.

Reading is falling in love with a place you've never been too.

Reading is the tears streaming down your face after you finish a book because you simply didn't want that world to end.

Reading is counting down the days until the next book comes out.

Or throwing the book at the wall when your favorite character dies.

Or realizing it's four in the morning and you're dancing around the kitchen after your ideal couple finally ends up together.

Or falling out of your seat in the library.

Or screaming in horror as you watch the movie.

Or staring wide eyed at the last page for an hour.

If through this blog I can get one person to read one good book, to experience a world full of people they have never met and places they have never seen and feel as if they have known these people their whole life and has grown up in those places then I have succeeded in accomplishing my goal.
